Dr. Golan Nissim

Dr. Golan Nissim founded Performance Care Chiropractic and Sports Medicine more than decade ago out of a personal desire to help individuals achieve the greatest level of health and fitness possible. Dr. Nissim is a board certified chiropractor, a certified Active Release Techniques® (ART®) provider, an ART® instructor and a member of the ART® Elite Provider Network.   Because of his experience and expertise, Dr. Nissim serves as a referral physician for numerous general practitioners and orthopedic surgeons.  

Using ART®, in combination with traditional chiropractic techniques, Dr. Nissim has successfully treated the shoulders of professional baseball players, the hands of musicians, the backs of law enforcement officers and golfers, and the feet of dancers.  He takes great pleasure in working with children and student athletes so they can succeed at their chosen sport in the best physical condition possible.  In that capacity, Dr. Nissim has assisted numerous sports teams and coaches with conditioning and training. His treatment philosophy is that whether you are an athlete or non-athlete; the same principles of prevention, treatment and recovery apply.

Dr. Roy Nissim

Dr. Roy Nissim attended The University of Arizona where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology along with minors in Chemistry and Athletic Coaching.  Dr. Roy did his graduate work at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, California, where he graduated Cum Laude. While at Cleveland he was actively involved in the Sports Council and received his certification in Active Release Techniques® (ART®). In May 2008, Dr. Roy traveled to Australia to treat one of PCCSM professional fighters, before his championship match.




Administration

Lauri Alexander

Lauri was born and raised in Utah and Colorado. She graduated from BYU with a degree in Art History in 2003, with honors. After college, she moved to Los Angeles and joined the PCCSM team as our front office manager.

Maribel Soto

Maribel attended United Education Institute where she got her medical assistant certificate. She has been a medical assistant to numerous orthopedic doctors, before joining the PCCSM team. Maribel also attended Los Angeles Vocational Institute where she received certification in massage therapy.


Massage Therapists

JOHN BOUTON

John Bouton is a graduate of the highly accredited Massage School of Santa Monica and a professional certified massage therapist with over fourteen years of experience.  While John primarily practices massage therapy and muscular rehabilitation at the office of Performance Care Chiropractic and Sports Medicine, he has also joined the new Ritz Carlton Spa in Marina del Rey as part of the original Spa team.  John is a highly dedicated caregiver, providing over 15,000 massages to a large and loyal client base.  He has traveled the world with the Miss Universe Organization, providing massage therapy to reigning titleholders of Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA as well as hosts, staff and crew of the production in places such as Mexico City, Namibia Southern Africa, and Manila in the Philippines, as well as the United States. Highly sought after for his private homecare, John has a proven ability to work with celebrities, fitness trainers, and executive clientele professionally and discretely, and his excellent interpersonal skills are exemplified by his ability to engage in pleasant repartee with clients if initiated, or to minimize conversation if desired. 

Robin Chambers

Robin Chambers has been a practicing massage therapist for 20 years, 12 of those at PCCSM. She blends a unique style of therapy which includes several types of modalities such as basic Swedish, sports or deep tissue, pressure and trigger point. Also adding energy touch therapy, with some cranio-sacral and reflexology, if needed. She will customize your massage accordingly, providing deep relaxation, pain relief and a sense of well being.
